Ron's formal education consisted of a BS in Mathematics, Cum Laude, from Southwest Missouri State University, Springfield, and an MS in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken, New Jersey. Over the years, Ron has worked for several different
firms, including:
But during that time, Ron actually changed jobs only once! The variety of company names resulted from a combination of mergers and spinoffs. Since his retirement in 1998, Ron has enjoyed helping people get their personal and business web sites working, by offering advice in various online forums. Ron has now decided to try to help people in a more direct and structured way by offering his services to develop and host web sites. There are tools on the market that claim to allow people with limited computer experience to develop and publish their own web sites, but many such users run into problems trying to keep their sites looking good for a variety users, and they often encounter problems dealing with graphics and other important page elements. As a result, they don't always make a good impression on the people who visit their sites, and they may not get the best return on the time, effort and money they invest in their web sites. Ron's plan is first to figure out just what the overall objective of the web site is going to be, and how that can best be achieved. This helps him determine how to organize the content of the web site, and how to promote it. Feel free to check out the sites Ron has developed for other clients, and then contact Ron if you want to see what he could do for you! |
